How to Get a Great Wetsuit Fit

Here are some tips for getting the best fit out of your ROKA wetsuit. Our Maverick wetsuits require a bit of extra attention because they are so stretchy up top.  That stretch provides unparalleled range of motion, but sometimes it lures you into thinking you've got the suit pulled up all the way when in fact you don't. If you don't have the suit pulled up, you can get a bit more neck leakage than normal. Follow these tips, and you should be good to go!

ROKA Wetsuit Fit Tips

Note: most wetsuits leak in the swimming pool, especially when pushing off the wall.  We recommend evaluating leakage in the same environment you'll be racing (open water).  You should also always test a suit in your race kit.  A little trickle in the suit is normal and buoyancy neutral.  Significant pooling is an issue and suggests either improper fit or an incorrect size.  But we regularly find that a suit that leaks in pool does just fine in the ocean or in a lake.  Have questions about sizing?  Check out our size chart or contact us.
